We are actively working to identify novel molecules in cannabis and how they affect signaling in endocannabinoid system (ECS) receptors in humans, using human cell lines
We are working to molecularly characterize individual cannabis strains, using genomic, transcriptomic, metabolomic and proteomic analyses. Combined with our work in human cells, we can test hypotheses for specific outcomes targeted by individual strains.
We are working to identify soil microbiomes associated with individual cannabis strain rhizosperes and how these symbiotic systems can affect specific characteristics within plants, such as flower number, size and potency.
